The Bolton Lions invites high school students in grades 9-12 to participate in the Club’s annual Youth Speech Contest. Cash prizes are awarded to the winner and runner-up, and students have the opportunity to win $1500 in the final competition at the Mass Lions State Convention. The winner of the Bolton Lions contest advances to the Mass Lions Zone contest.

Dates for the Bolton Lions and subsequent Mass Lions contests have not been finalized at this time. Please note that early rounds of the contest will be conducted live using Zoom or some other video conferencing application.

The theme for this year’s speech is “Is Winning Everything?”

Speeches can last from 5 to 8 minutes, and students can read directly from their manuscript.
